Community partners

Share your information, service or product

Our community partners are essential to the success of the Educational Resource Street Fair. By becoming an ERSF community partner, individuals, organizations and companies help their community by delivering supplies and information vital to its improvement. Everyone wins when you become active in your community.

Community partners have helped the ERSF distribute thousands of backpacks full of school supplies, give away computers, disseminate information on government programs, environmental improvement efforts, job programs, health organizations, etc. Each year the participation by community members increases, therefore increasing the need for additional community partner assistance.

For example, in 2007 ERSF received 10 laptops to disseminate amongst over 1,000 children. These laptops were given away in a free raffle. In 2008, thanks to our community partner Casey Family Programs, there are now 57 computers to disseminate. These computers will be given away via a writing contest to give participants a sense of earning their computer. But more computers are needed. There are thousands of children in our community that do not have household computers, requiring them to wait, sometimes hours, to get access to school and library systems.

Other ways to participate include setting up an information booth, donating additional school supplies, books, rain coats, affordable food booths, etc. The possibilities to reach out to children and their caregivers are endless. Do you have a mentoring or apprentice program? Set up a booth at the street fair. Do you sell organic produce? Set up a booth. Do you have information regarding an organization that supplies families in need with reduced cost or free services? Set up a booth.

If you, your organization or someone you know would like to be a part of the success of the 2008 Educational Resource Street Fair please contact us by email or phone ((206) 323-5959).

Register for a booth

The Educational Resource Street Fair puts information, tools and products in the hands of people. We encourage nonprofit organizations to set up booths to share information about resources and issues impacting communities and families; and businesses to sell products.

To register for a booth call (206) 323-5959 or send an email to partners@edrsf.org. Please include your mailing address. There is no cost for nonprofits; selling products costs $55 for a booth.
