Preparing students and families

Peoples Institutional Baptist Church, a 501(c)(3) organization, is located in the central area of Seattle, WA. In 2002, PIBC started the Educational Resource Street Fair as a social justice outreach program. Today, ERSF has grown into a highly successful public/private partnership and community program raising awareness and advocating for the needs of children, youth and families from low-wage households.

The ERSF achieves its mission by spotlighting programs and organizations that help families move out of poverty. Last year, ERSF helped parents prepare 1,081 students to return to school with the tools they need to be successful: computers, books, backpacks, school supplies, tutors, mentors and much more.
